Rice Pudding



Sometimes rice pudding just hits the spot!


1/2 cup rice
1 and 1/2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
pinch of ground cloves
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, just until rice is tender, about 25 to 35 minutes.
Garnish with a dash of nutmeg
